"The horn's natural ridges and raised areas have been chased with bright vaalor. Scrimshawed into the surface of the ancient ram's horn are entwined scenes of the hunt. One in particular stands out, depicting a pack of massive hounds pursuing a fleeing hart among the vaalor ridges in a never-ending chase. The workmanship is so detailed that when you peer closely you can see the hound's mouths agape as they bay in pursuit."

It's been a while since I've used it routinely so can't remember the exact spots, but like in some areas where you'd normally get a message like "Your magic fizzles ineffectually", this would often work, though not all of them. The highlight was probably when I used it to get out of a bugged GM shop before that had a door in and no ways out, so people kept getting trapped in there and all magic was blocked inside.
