hows it a waste?

Bobmuhthol
05-14-2005, 03:12 PM
Because it sucks. I'd rather get a guaranteed kill when they're stunned at 40% health or punch them the fuck out with haymaker.

I have top rank in all CM

I'd train in a defensive CMAN if it meant better defense against CS spells..

Otherwise, I'd just be happy with a tower bonus and shield tripling.

He's been typically retarded. Expend no brain matter on it any further.

My own are:
5 Ranks in Shadow Mastery
3 Ranks in Coup de Grace
5 Ranks in Wspec1
2 Ranks in Combat Mobility
About 20 spare points so that I can get Surge as soon as I master Subdue.

My warrior has Wspec and Bonding, and the p&b masteries. I personally like passive abilities that I don't have to turn off and on.

Here are the chars I have that are at least 25:

* Train 37 smithing rogue that ambushes & hides: You know absolutely nothing about Combat Maneuvers.

* Train 37 enchanting Wizard: You know absolutely nothing about Combat Maneuvers.

* Train 33 cleric: You know absolutely nothing about Combat Maneuvers.

* Train 41 empath: You know absolutely nothing about Combat Maneuvers.

* Train 27 doubled smithing rogue (pick-pocket): 4 ranks shadow mastery with 4 points left.

* Train 25 enchanting Wizard: You know absolutely nothing about Combat Maneuvers.

* Train 29 ranger: You know absolutely nothing about Combat Maneuvers.

* Train 53 open fighting warrior: 2 ranks bearhug, 2 ranks precision, 5 ranks weapon specialization 1, 5 ranks bonding, and 5 ranks surge.

* Train 63 doubled smithing rogue with ambush: 5 ranks weapon specialization 1, 1 rank surge, 5 ranks cutthroat.

~ Thats a decent list I guess. My pures stay pure, as I need them that way and want them that way. I have several other rogues; however, none at 25 or higher, but acouple of them are all stealth, thus they double cman. I guess I pretty much leave the cmans to my warrior, and my rogues.

Not sure this helps you, but here it is.

Say, is wspec1 worthwhile? I've got a warrior who is specializing in Claidhs and I'm not sure that the (what is it, 2AS) is worth the CM points.

Also have one level of massive blow and one level of (I think its called) parry mastery.

Gigantuous
06-09-2005, 05:35 AM
I'd say it is, it's +2 AS per rank, 5 ranks that's +10. Never hurts to have more AS.

Which is true, I could see it being especially helpful at higher levels when the AS bonuses aren't as high per trains. My warrior is like... level 4 or something like that, though. :)

If you max out wspec1 with claidhs can you also use wspec 2 and 3 for claidhs also to get a +30 AS bonus or can each spec only be used for one particular weapon?

Gigantuous
06-09-2005, 05:51 AM
Hahaha, I wish it worked like you asked. But, unless I'm severely mistaken, you can only wspec one type of weapon, then have to wspec a different for wspec2 and wspec3. Stacking on the specs would be awesome though.

Itachi
06-09-2005, 05:57 AM
Right, it doesnt work like that. Personally i took it to level 3 since for me its 2, 4, 6, 8, 10. 8 or 10 CM for just 2 AS didnt seem justified at early levels. Later on when i have CM points to throw around, sure i'll max it but there is more useful things you need to be putting them into early on.

Thats what it sounded like to me, but I was just hoping otherwise! ^_^

Latrinsorm

Get enough wspec to get bonding. Any more is a waste of CML points. If I didn't want bonding, I wouldn't get wspec at all. A couple ranks of surge is a much better investment.
