Coraesine is a hard to come by metal, I like to keep pieces in stock for when I want to use it for an alteration and I recently used my last piece so Im looking for more.

Some times when you're getting an alter and want to add a specific metal or gem you are asked to provide a piece of it.

Veil Iron, Coraesine, and rift gems come to mind.

So what alot of people do is buy trinkets and baubles and store them for when they do get an alter so they can provide it to the alterer to include into the alteration. Common materials don't generally have this stipulation but it doesn't mean they can't it's all up to the alterer.
