The brigandine is fitted to be worn with no room under it to spare. Showing through at the joints is an extremely supple dusky leather lined with black spidersilk. This lining is, no doubt, what allows such a close fit without unduly affecting the wearer's mobility. The armor's more rigid surface is finished with a multitude of inky hues which quite effectively distress its outline.
It imparts a bonus of +35 more than usual.
