Damage Factor

Im sure Ill catch some comments for asking but anywho...

How do you test the damage factor on a weapon?

Does anyone have a list of current damage factors for the ranged weapons?

Im hoping we know of some manner since supposedly these bane weapons people are making have higher damage factors figured it was tested somehow.

damageFactor = (endRoll - 100) / rawDamage

Supposed DFs of ranged weapons:

Light Crossbow .350 | .300 | .325 | .275 | .150
Heavy Crossbow .425 | .325 | .375 | .285 | .175
Short Bow .325 | .225 | .275 | .250 | .100
Composite Bow .350 | .300 | .325 | .275 | .150
Long Bow .400 | .325 | .350 | .300 | .175

The best way to get damage factor is trial and error; that is, take the endroll and find the range of numbers that will give you the raw damage. Then, do that with a number of hits and find the overlap.

All forged weapons that have the highest quality forging have enhanced DFs, not just bane weapons.

My data agrees with Bob's chart. To my knowledge, they haven't been tested in awhile, but DFs don't generally change very often.

No, but they have changed recently, and I don't think anyone truly knows what they are right now. I've yet to see consistent data.

Appreciate the input, and Im goin to go ahead and sound like more of plum and ask what Im looking for to pull the raw damage number? Im doubting its as simple as the damage I get when the arrow lands?
