ROFLMAO
The whole time I kept wondering if that was just scripted or if Mr. McFly is really that fucked up.
I'm still trying to figure it out. Anyone?

Hoity-toity, I had no idea this event took place.
The moment it loaded up, I said to myself, "Holy shit, it's Rubin!"
Glover starred in a movie titled "Rubin and Ed" in 1991, which was HILARIOUS. The outfit Glover has on in that appearance is IDENTICAL to the one he wears in the movie (same shirt, shoes, wig, etc).
If you've ever seen Rubin and Ed, his character in that is exactly how he acted during the Letterman segment. I've heard that in an interview he said that he was trying out a new character and just wanted to see the reactions he would get.
Many people try to pass it off as him taking drugs, but that's just speculation -- he's never done drugs, or even drank.
I'd say the former is the reason why he acted that way, but then again, everyone has their own opinion -- regardless, it was rather amusing.

Jim Carey did something similar during an awards show while he was researching the part of Andy Kaufman.
