This is a legendary find.

some snow leopard hide gloves braced with a trio of rolaren claws

I'll even throw in the original box they were found in: a filigreed rolaren reliquary with a colorful cloisonne lid

This is a fully unlocked UAC gloves animalistic spirit weapon. Here is the Wiki for animalistic spirit weapons: https://gswiki.play.net/Animalistic_Spirit_Weapon

Look description: Fashioned from the cured hide of a snow leopard's paw, the back surface of these gloves is covered in a coating of plush snowy fur patterned in dark rosettes. The remnants of what would have been the creature's paw pads make up the garment's palms, creating a tough protective layer. A trio of thin rolaren claws, each one curved and tapered to a sharp point, sprout from the gloves' knuckles. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Weight: under a pound
Bonus: +20
Enchant difficulty: 246
Max lightened: Yes

---- Animalistic Spirit Weapons ----
=General Script Information=
This is a weapon with the spirit of an animal trapped within it.
The spirit is wild and must be tamed by unleashing it against like-level foes (successful hits), as well as successful parries (melee/runestaves) or evades (UCS/ranged) from like-level foes during combat.
If not fully tame, the spirit within can backlash upon the owner.
Allegiance can be changed, but the new owner must work off the trust gained by the previous owner.
When striking, there is a chance the spirit will unleash Animalistic Fury flares.
=Alteration Guidelines=
* Alterations to the 15/15/15, long and show of this weapon are fine.
* Some merchants can change the spirit color, spirit call, spirit group, or how the spirit looks.
NOTE: You cannot change the general type of animal, such as changing a large feline to be a canine, except using certificates.
As well, each spirit type only has certain pre-approved nouns allowed.
=Features=
* Animalistic Fury Flares (Tier 4 of 4)
The spirit within lashes out with a stampede. (Damage Type: Grapple)
Flares are currently: ON [RUB to toggle]
* Revenge Flares = Unlocked
On a successful parry (melee/runestaves) or evade (UCS/ranged), there is a chance to unleash Animalistic Fury flares. You must be in a forward or greater stance and be an active combatant in combat for the spirit to react.
NOTE: Power of this ability is tied to the Flare tier.
* Wild Backlash = Unlocked
When Animalistic Fury flares hit, the spirit within lashes out with its untamed anger, causing a momentary reduction in the target's DS and TD.
NOTE: Power of this ability is tied to the Flare tier.
* Savage Power = Unlocked (Tier 5 of 5)
Once an hour, draw on the power of the spirit within your weapon for an increase in AS, CS and critical padding by CLENCHING the gloves.
* Flavor Actions (Tier 3 of 3)
At this tier, this weapon captures the following: WEAR, REMOVE, RUB (Flares On/Off), WHISTLE, TURN (targeted/untargeted), RAISE, POINT (targeted/untargeted), CLEAN, PRAY, BOW (targeted/untargeted), EXHALE, WAVE (targeted/untargeted).
* Tameness/Affinity
Tame the spirit to prevent it enacting its rage upon you.
Only one person can have allegiance to this weapon's spirit at a time.
The feeling of this spirit toward no one is wild (Level 0 of 12).
NOTE: To start taming this weapon, damage a like-level creature with them or successfully parrying (melee/runestaff) or evading (UCS/ranged) attacks from a like-level foe while in active combat.
=Current Settings=
* Spirit: snow leopard (Type: Large Feline)
Available nouns for this type are: lion, lioness, panther, tiger, tigress, puma, catamount, jaguar, leopard, snow leopard, clouded leopard, cheetah.
* Spirit Descriptor: lithe
* Spirit Color: snowy white
* Spirit Call: snarl
* Spirit Group: pride

Zests:

bow: Clenching your hands into fists within your hide gloves and holding them against your chest, you bow low. Snowy white light seeps into your body from the gloves, a brief ethereal image of a snow leopard overlaying your face in a temporary mask as you straighten up.

rub: You run the palms of your hands over the back of each of your hide gloves in turn. A flicker of snowy white light surrounds the gloves before winking out with a fading snarl.

exhale: Tilting your head back, you slowly inhale, causing an array of snowy white lights to rise from your hide gloves in time to the rhythm of your breath. As you exhale, the bright motes burst outwards in a flurry of incandescence, briefly forming into the outline of a snow leopard before winking out.

Snowy white light flickers sluggishly into being around your hide gloves before dying away.

turn: Clenching both fists and raising your hide gloves, you spin adroitly on one heel and turn around in a defensive stance, green eyes alert. Snowy white light crackles over the surface of your hide gloves in a wildly chaotic pattern.

clean: You brush your hide gloves together briskly, removing any lingering dirt and grime. A shiver runs through the hide gloves in response to the touch, sending fractal patterns of snowy white light into the air.

point: Clenching one of your hide gloves into a fist, you flick the other in a decisive gesture.
With a resounding snarl, a lithe snow leopard made of snowy white light bursts from the gloves and stalks forward a few steps before pouncing, claws extended and teeth bared! It moves off into the distance and dissipates into an array of bright snowy white motes that scatter into the air.

point at someone: Clenching one of your hide gloves into a fist, you flick the other in a decisive gesture toward Bochser.
With a resounding snarl, a lithe snow leopard made of snowy white light bursts from the gloves and stalks toward Bochser a few steps before pouncing, claws extended and teeth bared! It seems to collide with Bochser, but merely ends up dissipating into an array of bright snowy white motes that scatter into the air.

exhale: Tilting your head back, you slowly inhale, causing an array of snowy white lights to rise from your hide gloves in time to the rhythm of your breath. As you exhale, the bright motes burst outwards in a flurry of incandescence, briefly forming into the outline of a snow leopard before winking out.

pray: Pressing the palms of your hide gloves together, you bow your head and murmur a prayer to the spirit within them.
Riotous streams of light coil from the gloves and spread upward through your body, making your eyes flash briefly with a wild snowy white glow. As a faint snarl echoes through the air, the light recedes into your hide gloves.

raise: Clenching one of your hands into a fist, you raise it above your head in triumph! A cacophony of snarls bursts from your hide gloves as a flicker of snowy white light surrounds them.

wave: Clapping the palms of your hide gloves together rhythmically, you break into a frenetic tribal dance, snowy white sparks swirling in your wake. The tiny motes of light merge together into the ethereal form of a lithe snow leopard as it stalks behind you, its gait full of both power and grace.

whistle: Clenching your hands into fists, you hold your hide gloves up in front of your face and whistle a set of three notes in a descending scale.
Threads of snowy white light pulse over the surface of the hide gloves in time to the notes, coalescing into the ethereal form of a lithe snow leopard on the floor at your feet. Body in a wild posture, a lithe ethereal snow leopard stalks past you, tail flicking slightly. In a burst of snowy white motes, it dissolves back into the hide gloves.

wear: You pull on some snow leopard hide gloves braced with a trio of rolaren claws one at a time, wiggling your fingers to ensure a good fit. Coalescing over the surface of the gloves, a thin layer of snowy white light briefly ripples into being before dying with an echoing snarl.

remove: You tug some snow leopard hide gloves braced with a trio of rolaren claws free from your hands one at a time. A spray of snowy white motes skitters over the surface of the gloves before fizzling out with a fading snarl.

As someone pointed out to me it's probably supposed to be UAC gloves, not USC gloves :p

I was just going by what the Wiki said on the link I provided in the original post.

No idea why the Wiki says USC gloves, does that mean something else?

Oh, I thought they were University of South Carolina gloves.

Also, the wiki says UCS, or Unarmed Combat System.

We all use to say UCS Naijin and some others prefer UAC....they are both the same thing.

I might have that backwards

per the WIKI

The Unarmed Combat System encompasses a unique combat style which features four types of attacks: Jab, Punch, Kick and Grapple. This system replaces Voln fu (Kick, Punch and Throw), which is now obsolete, as the primary unarmed attack method used against Undead creatures. Unarmed combat attacks are not, however, limited to the undead. They can be used against all creatures and characters.

This system is officially abbreviated UCS (Unarmed Combat System), however, sometimes it is still called UAC (UnArmed Combat) among players.

UAC is probably the more widely used term. Even when I was participating in the beta on the test server people called it UAC, although the dev GM incharge (Finros I want to say?) called it UCS. I've always liked UCS better, personally.

thanks Dreaven!

Now i have these and am looking to upgrade them - what are the thoughts on order/upgrades i should look at?

-enchant first
-add non-script flare
-sanctify
-ensorcell
-weighting?

Any thoughts/input is welcome!

Not sure about GM provided services, but sanctify is by far the most expensive player provided service so you should do sanctify first as far player provided services go.

Might want to enchant it first, as it'll be much more difficult to do after other stuff is added.

That is true, I think enchant adds the least amount of difficulty to an item.

I'm not sure what services add how much to what, but the rule of thumb has been to enchant stuff first, because adding other services before enchanting will ramp up the enchant difficulty pretty quick.

So a full S6 is 150 difficulty, and Clerics being the harder to come by right now since the service just released (as Tgo said) so the higher difficulty offerings bringing the premium and scarcity. Enchanting I feel plenty of Mages can handle 396 Diff but perhaps enchant at S5. Id save ensorc for the last because those prices are tanking and lord knows we've got plenty of high difficulty Sorcs out there. Weighting you can honestly mix in there at will as it'll move generally slow enough that the difficulty doesn't spike noticeably. However keep in mind that weighting is also less impactful to UAC folk than standard Melee so I also wouldn't go to hard. Then wrap it all up with some Cat B's (Dispel life), I believe Animalistic doesn't eat that yea?
