Has anyone bought anything other than books from Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com)?

I purchased a perfectly good, used and obscure (hard to find) DvD that cost less than the shipping.

Checked out their site and they sell, like, everything. Best price I found on a large wide-format HD TV with free shipping.

Just curious if anyone has purchased electronics or otherwise similarly priced delicate items and how the experience was.

They only thing that I have bought there, besides books, is a CD, so there really isn't anything I can offer. But the experience was good.

I've bought from Amazon, but not from sellers.

I bought an electric heater from them and a vacuum cleaner as well. Never had a bad experience with them.

WTF.

Amazon.com has been around for like a million years. I use them for my wishlist so my relatives know what I want for christmas/birthdays, or just to keep track of things I want to get.

It seems pretty ridiculous to me for someone to start a thread out of amazement over a website that's been pretty huge for a very long time.

It's pretty close to OH SHIT GUYS HAVE U HEARD OF GOOGLE? I FOUND OUT HOW TO SHOOT MYSELF IN THE FUCKING FACE WITH IT TODAY.
