Ranger Reallocation News

Fortunately I was able to spend a substanstial amount of time this week fiddling with the CMGR. I've one lingering menu generation issue to resolve and then I think we're ready to deploy the update. If all goes well us rangers can expect to have the additional reallocation option available this coming Sunday.

I am. I'm switching over the majority of my spirit circle ranks to the ranger circle so I can finally get my companion. I'll also be fully singled in PT to increase my redux.

I know this will put me under the profession complaining about what other professions recieved list but so be it. This irritates me to no end. Rangers are not the only profession that had things change after reallocation came around. I know there are a few big things that affected me (as a wizard) that I could have corrected with one more reallocation. One thing that comes to mind would be the ball spell changes, they are very strong now but I reallocated before they came out and I did so in such a manner as to limit my casting i. e. I didn't go up the 500's that high limiting my bolt AS boost from 513. I know several other wizards that did just the opposite and trained heavily for 513 so they could have a 910 bolt shot of the gods. What happened? 910 DF got tweaked down to the point that it became mana intensive.

Don't get me wrong I'm still hacking and slashing with the best of them but if you're gonna give one profession one more shot you should give the other professions their shot as well. After all rangers weren't the only ones to have things changed after the fact. I know what you're going to say, rangers had so much changed to this that and the other. Great other professions had things tweaked to major aspects of their specific training paths as well (take example sited above).

Anticor, I agree 100%. They knew about GSIV long before we did. They knew all the changes in the works. Granted, the timelines may not be the fault of anyone in particular, but they should have NEVER allowed re-allocation before all the changes they kept dumping on us. They weren't minor changes either, they were major changes to more than one profession. Changes that affected peoples training. I'd wish they would have 'postponed' re-allocation til all changes were in. Maybe they were thinking 'well, we'll let them reallocate now, the remaining changes will be in within a week' and that didn't happen? If that was the thinking, I would imagine they'd learn their lesson by now when it comes to timelines.

Anyways, enough rambling for now. I agree Anticor, you have every right to be upset.
