I talked to Simutronics billing about a week or so ago, and they found him on an active account. Of course they couldn’t share the name of the account or anything, but they did say the character was transferred around a few times. Given that, I assume he is out there.

He was in his 60s in level when I sold him way back in 2014, so doubt they would allow a name change for violating the naming policy or something of that nature. That got settled long ago.

You can change your name now with a simucoin potion, you can also change your race and class but it's pretty expensive.
