>wei my strong
You carefully examine the steel strongbox and determine that the weight is about 271 pounds.
Roundtime: 5 sec.

The largest one I have ever found could not be lifted by a human with 100 strength and constitution. I believe it was just a few pounds more than this one. My memory was that it had around 44,000 coins in it, and had to be field picked on plane 5 of the rift. I was able to pick this one up without any enhancives on. After opening:

In the steel strongbox you see some polished blue coral and some silver coins.
>get coins
You can only collect 37,280 of the coins due to your load.
Roundtime: 30 sec.

R>tap my back
You stash your silver in your backpack.
>get coins
You gather the remaining 1,360 coins from inside your steel strongbox.
Roundtime: 1 sec.

38,640+1,360=38,640.

At today's conversion rate, that's 9.7 cents!

That's cray cray.

I always get excited when I find a really heavy box, even though I know it'll just be silver and maybe a couple of cheap gems.

There was one on the 2nd floor of Nelemar a while back, I could not pick it up either with a 106 strength and wizard and phoen strength on. My rogue was in the landing so I could not field pick it, I sure hope someone got it.

A lot of people are unaware that the single largest object you can pick up in Gemstone cannot exceed your body weight, so if you're a giantkin, you have an advantage. I'm unsure if the ascension points put into strength or constitution change your body weight.

You carefully examine your physique and figure you weigh about 271 pounds.

Note: I weighed myself 10x and the range was 266 to 275.

I don't think so. I bought that one from Roblar, who won it at an event. That said, I do think it's pretty likely that they thought your idea was so cool that they duped it and made a half dozen more of them. So thanks! I love it.

That's cool then. Even today, literally 26 years later I do get excited about pieces of virtual text. For all my mixed feelings about GS, it obviously evoked a lot of passion and shaped my life even today. I've tried explaining to my wife the game and all I can ever really fall back on is the combination of text and imagination brought the game alive to me.

I tried explaining it too. My wife just calls it the Matrix.

It is hard to explain. Thanks for designing something I use every day!
