Since this thread was started by a banned member using a different name, I've removed the content. However, some of you had some neat things to say, so I've left the responses. I figure the title says enough. :D

Sounds like my old job at my uncle's (amazingly) very successful insurance and investments company.

Damn that place made me miserable, I had multiple bosses (including the office manager) that acted like the office mgr at your place.

Yes. My boss is dumb. I actually had to call a meeting with her and our operations manager who happens to be her sister because our working relationship was crossing one too many boundaries for my tastes. She'd do retarded shit like call me at work after she'd already left for the day and talk to me about how noone in the office respects her and how she feels like she's a peon and shit like that. Then tell me not to tell anyone and to keep it between us. I'm like, wtf, please stop being a psychotic. She actually told me one day that I was the smartest one in the department...lol Hmmm, how does an underling answer to such a unprofessional compliment.

She gets offended that I don't talk about my personal life with her or the things I do outside of work. When I'd have to call in to work sick or something similiar, she'd call me at home constantly to "check on me and see how I'm doing". Sorry to hear about your moronic new boss though, that sucks.

I've actually gotten along REALLY well with all of my bosses over the years, so I'm blessed in that way. I don't chitchat though at work and will stay late to finish things.

I have, however, had a similiar experience at college with a foreign professor who could not speak English properly to save her life. She was my Chem 1 teacher. Imagine trying to learn intro to chemistry when you couldn't understand what the person was saying half the time! Sadly, I couldn't switch the class because the other, faster, people switched to different times before I, so I stuck it out and read the book a lot and moved on to better chem profs :D .

I kinda want to meet this new boss. She sounds like you could have quite a few laughs at her expense.

The timing on the creation of this thread is perfect, because I almost walked out on my job on Tuesday.

We've got a new store director at Petsmart, he's pretty much the head manager over the other managers, and the rest of the staff. He's a total fucking douchebag. He sits in the office his entire shift and chit-chats with his shit-for-brains wife. Only to storm out at the end of the night, pointing fingers and telling us what we've missed doing.

Now, I KNOW its a goddamned retail job, and I like slacking as much as the next person, but our previous store director at least helped close up the store. And perhaps I'm nitpicking but I'd really like to just walk in the office one day with a pair of scissors and snip the phone cord right infront of him, look at him, smile, and say, "Now that that's taken care of, you can do your fucking job."

All this...for fucking 7.75 an hour. I want to kill myself.

Ughh... Boss who talks to wife all the time....grrrr. Hopefully, he won't stay in his position much longer if he isn't doing his job. --Especially if someone were to oh, say... let a python out of its cage?

Learn to trade stocks and/or about the market. It's a really really FASCINATING kind of alternate mentality. Plus, if SS reform passes, you'll need to know some of the stuff anyway!

Unfortunately, we don't sell snakes. BUT, he did end up blowing off two customers with concerns over a lizard, at which they complained to me about over HIS lack of concern about the issue. I know if anyone else had done something similar he would have ripped them to shreds.

So, I was more than happy to give our customer service number, and his name, and his position to them so they could call and tell the district department what he did. :D

I'm also planning on cornering him about it when I work tonight. Should be interesting, I'll let you know if I still have a job tomorrow. :D

You should call your job or have someone else call and pretend that their from corporate and proceed to rip him a new asshole.

That is highly tempting, but I don't know the names of anyone from corporate, whereas he probably does.

Its not worth it though, I plan on getting a REAL (40hr week, no weekends) job after I graduate two Thursdays from now. At that point, I'm copying down our corporate numbers (the people you talk to when managment is fucking up and you can't talk to them about it) and tell them exactly WHAT it is he does all day. If nothing gets done about it, at least I'll feel better having gotten it off my chest.
