It’s been 10 years since I last played. Going to roll a warrior as I’ve never seriously played one before.

Ahh events. Last event I attended was RtCF circa…2014 I think? It wasn’t long after that I stopped playing. Makes sense though. I’m hoping I can get just one or two people to start with me.

Hey how many players are on Prime now on the peak times of day like say 8PM EST? (Just an approximate estimate.)

500-700 characters, which equals 60 actual people most likely.

Well....I do see a large group of 8-12 characters always in hot pursuit of the group leader as they tear ass through Solhaven's hunting grounds going to whatever their final destination is (Shan or maybe Bonespear areas). As a group you can't climb areas at once, so all of a sudden I get a massive screen scroll of 8-12 characters all climbing up into a room, then they all vanish together as the group reforms.

Very annoying. I see them all in the adventure guild at the same time, too.


Usually most people don't have multiple, upon multiple pay accounts (F2P, I wonder if they contribute a lot to the in game population?). I'd like to think there are more than 60 people playing....maybe like 61 or 62, but 60 seems just a bit too low.

Huh…that seems like a lot of characters. Do they still monitor for AFK scripting on prime?

They are going to Bonespear. And the lag from when they are in a room completely kills one of my alts when I try and hunt him. If I see them around, I just go do something else.

One more…does anyone know if Lich works on Windows 11? Website says it works on 8 / 9 / 10. Won’t be able to try it until I get home later.

Also I hope l hope my AMD 5600X CPU / Radeon RX 6700 XT GPU / 64 GB of RAM are enough to at least meet the minimum system requirements to run the game…. :D

Yeah it runs just fine if you use the installer. Not sure if the installer goes right up to the new lich version, but that works too in 11 just fine.

Yeah apparently Giggawatt wasn’t taken. I asked in advance of renaming if that was ok. I didn’t get a response from the GMs but went with that. So far so good. Did the sprite quests, paid my debts, moved to the Landing, and just got some Lich stuff setup.

Tomorrow I hunt rats. Hope to make some new friends! If anyone wants to be a noob with me again, come adventure with me in the catacombs tomorrow night at 7:30 PM CST.

IMO yes every race prof combo will work. There is a mechanics GM who says the exception is halfling warrior which is unplayable, but I play one and about to cap ::shrug::. Good luck

Halfling warrior is easier and more enjoyable to get to 50 than any race as a bard, in my experience. Haven't capped a halfling warrior yet, but it can't be much worse than elf back before they changed the stat bonuses, and I did that twice.

They do but not really, if that makes sense. If you're sticking out like a sore thumb (logged in for 12 hours consecutively, doing big xp/hr, hunting at like 5am EST or something when a bored GM logs on to script check a few people, broken script causing obvious disruption to others via poaching or being stuck in a sell/herb loop, etc) you will probably get hammered. Otherwise, they don't give a shit at all.

I am pretty sure they must have dropped the boom on two people AFK picking in Four Winds recently since I have not seen either of them in a week or two and they were always in

Unless something changed in the past week, they just moved towns and were picking in RR.
