I've started up a UAC Rogue, and was hoping to get some suggestions on his training. I have a lot of excess training points, and am not sure where to use them:

(at level 22), your current skill bonuses and ranks (including all modifiers) are:
Skill Name | Current Current
| Bonus Ranks
Two Weapon Combat..................| 62 13
Armor Use..........................| 120 30
Combat Maneuvers...................| 102 24
Brawling...........................| 148 48
Ambush.............................| 146 46
Physical Fitness...................| 99 23
Dodging............................| 169 69
Disarming Traps....................| 146 46
Picking Locks......................| 146 46
Stalking and Hiding................| 146 46
Perception.........................| 99 23
Climbing...........................| 50 10
Swimming...........................| 25 5

Training Points: 0 Phy 226 Mnt (72 Mnt converted to Phy)

Eventually I want to go the shielded brawler route, and I'm not sure if a) i can get enough shield training to make that viable right now and b) if 3x dodge isn't a waste once I do switch over. Assuming I could drop the .5x TWC at that point as well. Long term goal is to get to 404, but I don't expect to need that for a long time. Currently wearing brig, and haven't needed to UAC from hiding much where I'm hunting. Thanks in advance!

Perception is cheap enough for rogues that you might as well 2x in it if you have extra points, it helps in maneuver defenses.

Also if you're picking boxes you'll want some Arcane Symbol ranks to disarm scarabs, I think 20 ranks is enough to never fail at disarming a scarab on the first try.

Shield maneuvers are really good for UCS rogues, specifically Small Shield Focus, Shielded Brawler, and Shield Throw. I'd honestly go that route over TWC.

TWC is only useful for extra DS, and even then it's not very much. If you don't use a shield, just get 1 rank in it. Literally just 1 rank, so that the base DS boost from it kicks in (+5 plus stat boost).

I don't think brig is really worth it anymore, myself, with Light Armor Proficiency. Might as well go double leather or robes.

3x hiding is also a big consideration at your level, because of the new RT breakpoints associated with it. I'd probably even drop the dodge in favor of hiding, especially with the invoker making DS less of an issue anymore.

Lastly, you don't need 403/404 anymore if you train Lock Mastery. LM Focus is better, and doesn't stack, so it's one or the other.

Thanks all, i made some changes in the Test instance. Not sure how accurate the combat command is, but:

With 3x dodge, .5x TWC, 1x Perception I have the following:

Melee:
Evade: 93 DS, 38% avoidance
Parry: 12 DS, 0% avoidance / 18 DS, 0% avoidance
Total: 208 DS, 38% avoidance

Spell:
Evade: 140 DS, 24% avoidance
Total: 250 DS, 24% avoidance

Ranged:
Evade: 140 DS, 24% avoidance
Total: 215 DS, 24% avoidance

Unarmed Defense Factor (UDF): 234

Standard Maneuver Roll (SMR): 12% chance to be hit

With 2x dodge, 2x shield, 2x perception this changes to:

Melee:
Evade: 62 DS, 28% avoidance
Block: 16 DS, 10% avoidance
Parry: 12 DS, 0% avoidance
Total: 215 DS, 35% avoidance

Spell:
Evade: 93 DS, 19% avoidance
Block: 20 DS, 0% avoidance
Total: 263 DS, 19% avoidance

Ranged:
Evade: 93 DS, 19% avoidance
Block: 20 DS, 13% avoidance
Total: 228 DS, 29% avoidance

Unarmed Defense Factor (UDF): 259

Standard Maneuver Roll (SMR): 11% chance to be hit

My MM drops to mid 80s though (with small shield and 3x shielded brawler), which isn't optimal (UAF is 167). I will look into getting down into doubles over brig, hopefully that helps a bit.

You have punch mastery?

Also, are you getting hit? Do you even need the shield?

Punch mastery and evade mastery.

I moved to zombies recently; with invoker spells I'm usually OK unless they use their AS boost on an attack. DS in offensive is ~ zombie AS.
