It took me like, 20 minutes to remember the URL for this place, and another 10 to figure out how to post again.

But, I'm just checking in. I miss my computer. I'm still in Namibia, in Africa, where it's hot as hell and I have a fricking BLACK MAMBA LIVING IN MY BACKYARD (have you seen Kill Bill vol 2?).

Other than that, I'm good. Hope y'all are keeping your heads up. I'll be back in....1 year, 5 months.

Well, I don't know if you guys have heard about this thing called Marburg virus.

It's a pretty damn virulent strain of Ebola, w/ something like a 90% mortality rate, and it's in Angola (and I'm on the border of Angola/Namibia).

Plus, I work in the hospital.

Plus, the border is a river which people cross daily.

Plus, Angolans are regularly coming here for health care because their health care is so poor.

So I'm basically just waiting to start bleeding from every pore of my body.

But other than that and making sure my backyard guest doesn't kill me/working ingenious ways to kill him/her, yes, plenty of fun.

He is so darned liberal he makes me look like a nazi, and trust me, I do tend to at least vote with the commie bastard Democrats, as PB might word it, most of the time.

BUT.....he has his heart in the right place and is helping alot of people by doing something most would not so he gets a pass on the politics and a pat on the back for being a good guy from me at least.
:rah:

Oh, and just do a search for players corner and gemstone next time you kook.

Good luck with not getting Ebola... sounds like a rough way to die.

Glad to see you're still around.

Yea, I'm willing to tolerate his politics based on those grounds as well.

Though I give him another 10-15 years before he wises up in regard to his politics! :smug:

Ps. The Bills didn't win it all :( But we had a nice late season rally behind McGahee. Pretty lousy draft this year but well be starting Losman next year since we cut Bledsoe. And we had a pretty lame draft. You are now upto date.

Good to hear from you, TheE. So are you the one sending me emails saying you are a prince in exile and you'd like to send me 10 million duckets for me to hold, all you need is my bank info?

What do you do when not working at the hospital?

It'll never happen. He falls more into the Kennedy/Kerry blue-blooded democrat camp.

Dad's got enough money that he can spend time saving the world without worrying about the consequences.

I like hearing "The-E's" posts though. I really don't get to meet many people like him... if I do, they are usually very bad smelling and hanging out on concrete steps.

Be safe over there. Come home without oozing.

You meet any hotties that don't have the HIV?

Yeah, but you live in the voting/driving impaired, sinkhole spawning, alligator infested and hurricane having state of Florida so I indulge you out of pity.

Exactly.

Living in Florida + driving a mini van > Living in New Jersey + driving a Porche

Though I agree that Florida & Mini-van > Jersey & Porsche, I will also have to state that Northern VA > Florida + Jersey

Ps. The Bills didn't win it all But we had a nice late season rally behind McGahee. Pretty lousy draft this year but well be starting Losman next year since we cut Bledsoe. And we had a pretty lame draft. You are now upto date.

That's cause I told them to not win until I get back home. There's another vol from Buffalo here (actually, a few) who I discussed the draft with at length today. A wide receiver in the first round?

In the capital for a conference, to discuss what the hell will happen if Ebola comes here (basically - run away).

There are lots of hot women here but I'm too scared to even think about it. The prevalence rate of HIV is something like 25%, and within people my age (18-30) it's something like one in three.

But I'm dating another volunteer from.....Canada. Can you believe it? Nova Scotia of all places.

But other than that - thanks for all the well wishes.

And I'll be a super liberal til the day I die. As for being the Kennedy/Kerry blueblood, I think you have to be a landed American for at least 5 generations before you qualify - my family came in 1984. ;-)

As an ending note, though, I dislike the idea that money corrupts absolutely (sorta like power). If one doesn't need, the money doesn't control. If you want, I can give it to charity and live ascetic Gandhi style. The problem is, Gandhi could only inspire people to do things, he hadn't the resources to do them himself. I'm not so dynamic. ;-)

Weird Windhoek (the capital of Namibia) fact: The streets are all named after revolutionaries.....among them, Mahatma Gandhi, Sam Nujoma (father of Namibian independence), Nelson Mandela.....and Fidel Castro, and Robert Mugabe.

They're some serious communists here, needless to say.

2nd. We traded our 1st round pick for this year to dallas so we could draft JP Losman last year.
