macOS 12.1 (Monterey) broke ruby

[hamsquatch]

When trying to run launcher from terminal I get an all black window. I was able to somehow get into the game with Lich running and all the windows (xnarost) are black also. This is an issue that people are finding with 12.1, does anyone know how to address it? I did try to reinstall ruby 2.6.6 and got the below.

Thanks in advance I'm touched when it comes to this stuff.
