I think it's worse, in that the new owner has to work off old affinity before gaining their own.

You break the bond immediately with a verb and can bond in a short amount of time. Infusing blood and heal until complete. The cooldowns were removed

All that bonding stuff and working off affinity is gone. It instant resets back to zero. Super fast getting it back to affinity especially if you have a pocket healer.

I did armor/weapon in a day to affinity 9. It was not bad at all. Armor was a lot easier than weapon.

I am not sure why they took it all off the armors but I am glad they did. Maybe someday they will remove it from the parasite weapons as well.
