Aside from the which 10am it would be (time zone) that information was posted day 1 with the original post. You didn't need to bid if you did not like the format. I won my bid that I had posted multiple days prior to the auction end time.

I understand that it does make the sale a bit more sweaty, having to make sure you're online at the time of ending. And you're right that there's no point anyone bidding till the last minute but like Orthin said, just leave the thread alone if the format troubles you.

I'm not too proud to admit when I'm wrong so if that detail was there from Day 1 and I missed it, then I absorb 100% of the blame. My apologies for the explosive nature of the earlier post, Tumbadoo. If it was there and I missed it, then it's on me- not on you.

You other gents are both absolutely correct; by bidding on an auction with that sort of format, I'm accepting the risk (and frustration) that comes with it.

Rage, don't sweat it my friend. Life is too short to worry about this kind of stuff - you don't owe me an apology. And I didn't find anything you said explosive. I do apologize for not being clearly on the time zone - that's on me.

I'd like to try and reframe some thinking here, if I might. Sure, you can snipe a bid last second or you can make a strong big early to discourage other bids if you really want an item. Just a thought.
