However, the owner of the phone has since refused to have it returned to him saying it was damaged beyond repair and he would be filing an insurance claim.

See now what I don't believe about this story is it was ringing. Everyone knows if a woman is going to steal a phone and try and transport it she is going to have it on VIBRATE.
