Can't speak for Laccon but they've recently become more readily alterable. So if you don't like kittens or sand elementals, they're the most versitile pet.

And not only because I'm selling one, but atleast the sand elementals can do several other things, along with them kittens I'm assuming, not sure on what the kittens do, but I know the elementals do all kinds of things. Even do random actions on their own.

Personally I like to litter all over Elanthia and have been known to make trip after trip from the tables to retrieve empties just to pile up all over town. But now that I'm older have so much more class I just 705 them and anything else I can find laying around.

I think the furry goat pins are cool. I remember when they gave them away. I was sad that I missed out on the handouts.
