SEATTLE, Washington (Reuters) -- A 17 year-old high school student faked the theft of his 2002 BMW M3 in order to collect insurance money to upgrade to a Bentley, police said on Thursday.

I mean come on... He's showing ambition but going about it in the wrong way. Obviously he needs to watch more episodes of Law & Order to know that his upgrade idea was full of holes.

I dont know if I fault the kid or his parents more in this instance. Perhaps they should have given him a mini-van as a driver for high school.

I know there were those kids at my school, driving around in their new mercedes that daddy got them.

And all of them ended up at second rate colleges, if they even made it. Most of them are in rehab now.

Winner? ME and my honda accord!

I love my Honda Accord. Then again, I'd love my BMW more.

My high school driver was a chevy s-10 blazer. At first I was sad because it wasnt a truck like all the other kids had... then I discovered what you could do with the back seat folded down and blankets... :D

I loved that blazer.

We have a chevy truck and a ford explorer in our family. Thinking about adding a volvo s60 and retiring the truck to pure recreational status.
