Interesting they did this, which tracks one of the earlier iterations of DR where “buying”an item put you in a pool and one person would be randomly selected to have the right to purchase. This effectively ends the spam “go tunnel” and “buy certificate” drill at HESS open.
One already observable effect of this is that it will blunt the “in between” bloodscrip (held over from the prior run) arbitrage and make pricing more consistent throughout.
