1-holy socks- 1.7b silvers
The socks resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a boost of 50 to Cleric Spell Circle.
This enhancement may not be used by the following professions: Warrior Rogue Wizard Empath Sorcerer Ranger Bard Savant Monk Paladin
The socks seems to be out of charges.

You sense that the holy socks will persist after its last enhancive charge has been expended.

2-urnon studs-355m silvers
The studs resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a boost of 10 to Major Spiritual Spell Circle.
This enhancement may not be used by the following professions: Warrior Rogue Wizard Sorcerer Ranger Bard Savant Monk Paladin
The studs looks to have a huge number of charges remaining.

You sense that the urnon studs will persist after its last enhancive charge has been expended.

I didn't know items existed that boosted spell ranks. If you had 0 Cleric spell ranks trained would this allow you to cast all cleric spells? Or does it just boost CS and other bonuses related to the number of cleric spell ranks?

Gotta have 30 ranks in the circle to use.

Interesting. So if you had 30 ranks then this item would allow you to cast 350?

The fact that one of these has somehow already managed to get to +50 is kind of amazing

There's a post around here showing someone spam buying them from HESS, I think it was the same person who bought the Rift boots but don't quote me on that.

When they were first released they were unlimited. The following year they limited them to 2 uses per item per event.

That is definitely NOT true. This item is *not* from that player.

Originally, when the spell rank enhancive were first introduced, there was no limit on how many you could do during a DR, with no surcharge. They changed that after the first introduction.

Altheren means without surcharges. You can still (I believe) pay a surcharge to get more during a given DR.

Unfortunately not. It's a weird exception to the surcharge rule. I hope they change it this DR!

Anything can happen of course, including maybe giving that certificate its own special surcharge tiering but it seems unlikely they'd just put it back to how it was first sold.

I am pretty sure what happened is that they decided this was too powerful to offer it like they did, even for HESS. Kind of like the death boots thing minus all the layers of drama of people being denied. Anyone could have done this but very few (or maybe even only one person) did. But not anymore.

Yeah, you're right...I completely forgot about that!

I think what actually happened is they realized they can’t have their whales spending $7,000 on that one item in one DR. When that happens, the whale has less to buy next DR, so when revenue is down, management gives them crap about it. Capping it at 2 spell books per DR allows them to smooth out the $7,000 over 5 DRs instead of over one.

This may be counterintuitive because you might think this is crazy, since they want what’s best for the company (moar money now). But the GMs aren’t incentivized that way - they’re incentivized like any middle manager: avoid getting crap from senior management. As long as revenue looks like it is smoothly increasing, they’re doing a great job (and they don’t have to get creative to sell more things).

So if your capped @ 167 spells, what does this actually do for you CS wise?

neimanz1
