View Full Version : toe crap

04-18-2005, 04:39 PM
Tonight I'm going to the podiatrist to have toe crap done for warts on my big toe. All I know is that it involves needles and some sort of electrical device to cauterize the toe, that it will be a series of procedures, and it varies from the traditional liquid nitrogen + digging out the warts method. This is also the same stupid toe that I had an ingrown toe nail procedure done on.

If anyone has had this procedure done, does it sucketh? And if so, how badly?

I just really hope this isn't as traumatizing as the ingrown toe nail procedure.

You lay down, they give you a local, and you're done. It's nothing. My father had it done and they used a mini blow torch to burn it out. Fun fun. My daughter's feet have a bunch of warts on them so she'll be getting it done soon. Oh, and they spread via picking/touching them, avoid playing with them.

I wonder if thats like the plantar warts that occur on your toes and soles of your feet... human papilloma virus (HPV) is the culprit and is very communicable through any type of surface contact via floors, hands, toenail clippers used to try to dig them out... etc.

I had one that went mosaic on my left foot... I self treated (not recommended) and finally got rid of it using OTC nitro applicators for plantar warts.

The perscribed treatement that you're going through isnt listed on http://www.podiatrychannel.com/plantarwarts/ but I'm sure you'll have plenty of anesthetic during the procedure, its afterwards that you might get assurances for pain management.

Hahahaha, my foot was blowtorched

I promise I'll take a picture of the 3rd degree burns once I take this gauze off.

In the meantime, I don't know if it's HPV or not, but, before I would use some sort of alternative-alternative treatment, I have to finish my next two treatments still using the torch.

Is it just me, or am I the only one that gagged (just a little) from this post?

The thought of the smell of cooked toe jam and fried wart made my stomach do the trout a few times.

It most likely HPV...

I had warts all over my hands and feet when I was a kid.. then one day and I mean one DAY they all of a sudden dried up or fanished or whatever. Was like flipping a light switch.

If you got bumps on your carrot... then you got bumps on your carrot.

wow, the blow torch would really hurt for genital warts I bet. Another good reason not to be into foot fetishes.

eeeeesh. that truly does look nasty.

:barf:

Edit: the bumps on your carrot remark made me laugh.

Thanks, Stanley, for that delightful display.

Seriously, I hope it doesn't hurt too much. It looks painful. :(

I was limping around town today, teehee!

Also, I heard from a very reliable source that these foot warts actually are essentially like having genital warts... except not on your genitals.

I think this is because I stepped on metal and then used a public shower to wash off the wound several weeks ago... I also have not used my feet as the primary method of penetrating another human being's body.

No toe sex for you!

Yeah I know, no one wants to make warm, gooey, pussy, oozing, disgusting, sloppy, third degree burn toe-sex with me. :(

<I also have not used my feet as the primary method of penetrating another human being's body.>

Well, now you know what will happen if you get genital warts from experimenting with dirty toe sex. Your carrott will be torched! Flambe anyone?

but to add something of value:

<I had warts all over my hands and feet when I was a kid.. then one day and I mean one DAY they all of a sudden dried up or fanished or whatever. Was like flipping a light switch.>

warts are pretty nasty things. The reason why they're so had to treat is because they're a virus, like the chicken pox, that will sit dormant wherever they are... which is one of the reasons HPV on your dick is not really treatable. Whether this means they can be transmitted to another person or part of your body while they're "gone" is not really definite. Treatments arent definite either. They'll get rid of the current one but another could just sprout up in its place. They can sit really deep under the skin and the treatment might not reach all the infected cells.

Stanely, your warts dont look like plantars warts, unless they are a horrible case. I dont know what the fuck that looks like. If it is a plantars wart, I believe they dont stay that far under the skin and most treatments will get rid of it completely. But as a precaution, I wouldnt get into using your toe as an instrument to enter someone else's body unless you want to risk infecting them.

Well, bad things come in threes.

In addition to my completely retarded-ass cuntbag shitty-caca-poopoo cauterized plantar warts, I have an ingrown toenail that's become infected and a gangliocyst on my feet now too.

Godamnit.

It sounds like you have the plantar equivalent of HIV.

Don't let the ingrown toenail go too long. Years ago I went to the doctor because part of the skin next to my big toe-nail was a bit red. He said everything was fine.

I got a second opinion. He basically called the first doctor a fucktard and brought me into surgery. Now my toenail looks fine.

And it wasn't a matter of clipping them. The nail was growing sideways into the skin.

06-10-2005, 12:16 AM
My ingrown toenail subsided and I only have a toe scar now, no more wound.

The gangliocyst on my toe looks like its fucking cancer though. I mean looks, it's way too squishy to be a malignancy.

Just pop more pills, Stan. They have one for foot fungus. As long as you have a healthy liver. Which, sadly, as many meds as you take, I don’t think you do.

I don't have the fungus.

Yet.
