It will take however long it takes. It is impossible to do the math when the rolls are random and the bid can come at anytime. Additionally the auction has been going for 3 days and the price has dropped over $150.00. Your average of $2.5 dollars a day is way wrong.

With the 2k dollar discount just buy difficulty potions, they are cheap. In addition 0x or 10x at cap for casters is the same tbh.

You shouldn't necessarily need difficulty pots, just a post-cap mutant. Especially with Ascension and an enhancive set, you can get up to the mid 800s or even close to 900, which would reduce the risk of failure to minimum.

A mutant could probably take it to +40 to +45 with a lot of luck, you'll need the pot for 45+ for sure, the 49-50 cast difficulty will be around 890.
