Mmmm.. nuclear test craters! I love google.

That is the biggest one. Zoom out a couple times and look to the bottom left for a shitload more. Zoom out more for more to the south but with a kicker... Remember those movies you saw of nuke tests blowing the shit out of fake towns?? There are craters with ruins around them which is pretty bad ass.
This is right next to groom lake (area 51) which you can see to the east/ne of these test sites but is rather boring since they took out teh CLOSE zoom level images of it last week.. nothing to hide my ass.
Also of note directly north of the base on groom lake and connected to it via roads are a bunch of green crops of some sort in circle form. Wonder if they are growing uber govt weed in area 51?

I'm trying my ass off looking for Cheyenne Mountain (norad/cmoc) but am having no luck.
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=denver,co&ll=39.748535,-104.864502&spn=2.949829,5.460205&t=k&hl=en
The big city (grey square) to the north of this is Denver, the small to the south is Colorado Springs.. The NORAD facility is suppose to be out side outside of Colorado Springs but I can't find it. Anyone got an idea?

I would have some questions/issues about National Security the NORAD facility in Cheyenne Mountain was easy to find...

Wow, this shit is cool. I found my house, my best friend's house, and the forest my bush party was in.
Although, you can't zoom close enough just yet :(

US Central Command. Zoomed in on some fighter bunkers with what looks like maybe some old silos to the right? Zoom out for pretty planes scattered about.

I'm addicted. Shuttle launch pad at Cape Canaveral KSC. The huge shuttle hangar is to the sw, just follow the 2 lane path. To the south east is about a dozen rocket launch sites. I really don't think having point and click sat imagery so available is such a good thing.

Yeah I think you're right. They are prolly not in use as there has only been a AMW stationed there.
Here is another cool one. Naval Base at Norfolk.. Carriers, crusiers etc. Can even see 4 submarines to the south of the carriers. Pretty bad ass.

I think you accidently pasted the norfolk link. Anyways here is a link I think you will appreciate. MCAS Newriver.
You can clearly see a shit load of 53's and 46's and it is a little hard to make out but you can see a bunch of Super's. I think I can see a couple UH's as well. I tried cherry point first but its blurred to hell. To the east obviously Lejeune.

The maps are several years old it would seem. I checked the map around my house and saw a building being built that has been done for about 2-3 years. Also a building was still there that is now gone.

This one is at least 3 years old but I got a kick out of it. It is my old house before divorce. You can see my 23 foot boat in the back yard but even more amazing I can make out my bright lime green 1973 dodge dart swinger in the front yard to the bottom right of the house. ahhaa fukin awesome.
Also that hooters picture the bottom left of that was Clearwater mall which has since been torn down and redev'd. I think the photos are all patch work from all different sources.

"The “boneyard” of the US military at Davis Monthan Air Force Base. It’s refered to as the world’s largest air force, as there are more planes parked here in various states of disrepair, destruction or stasis to out number any active air force in the world, including the US’. Pima Air and Space is just next door."

I'm still addicted. These one has to be almost 3 years old because while looking at JFK airport you can see the concorde.

They don't have detailed ones of my town, so I can't see my house. :(
