Same as any other 7x shield. Only way it'd be different is if you had some one looking specifically for one of those which is very unlikely.

Nope, not the Jugg. There was a merchant in the woods near the Landing around the same time who sold the 7x black tower shields.

Pretty sure these were sold off the Spitfire in the mid-late 90s. I remember because it was the same event that sold the "wickedly curved falchions" (4x HCW). I couldn't afford both and was very sorry about it, but I chose to go with the falchion. Also the same event with the laje-banded tower shields (6x), and bright yellow silk satchels. It was one of the last good merchants before things froze up for a few years with nothing but 4x crap off the shelves.

Blzrizz has it, Spitfire, merchant had 5x and 6x shields as well, game crashed because of the frenzy getting them. Though best item that Spitfire was the Heroism spoons for 5k each.

Does that inspect as a tower shield or is it still a medium shield? If it's from the 90's it's def from before shield sizes were a thing, so might be worth a bit more if it was never converted to match the desc...

You can get it resized to tower if you assist. Or keep it medium. Not sure which size is more valuable or useful.

But I am nearly certain that the 7x black tower shields were first introduced with a wizard merchant who was in the woods south of the Landing some months beforehand...mostly because I spent nearly every silver I had at the time getting one from him before he ran out.

Oh yeah, I do remember the Spitfire having the shields now - I stand corrected on that point.

But I am nearly certain that the 7x black tower shields were first introduced with a wizard merchant who was in the woods south of the Landing some months beforehand...mostly because I spent nearly every silver I had at the time getting one from him before he ran out.

I only remember this because I bought "a studded aventail" at that same Merchant that popped up in Dragonsclaw and it was super expensive for an aventail, so I thought it had to be really good and bought it. But yeah, that's where those 7x black tower shields were from, I'm almost 100% certain.
