Just need a small laptop for work. I'm not looking at anything other than these two. I actually already bought the first 1 (and haven't opened it yet) but noticed Costco might have a better option. Not for gaming at all. I will only be using Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365 plus 1 or 2 other productivity type programs, nothing major.
1. Lenovo Yoga 6 13.3" AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 4650U 2.1ghz with 8gb RAM and 256GB SSD Model #: 82FN003TUS - $630 (now $730 at Best Buy but I got it on sale at the $630)
2. Lenovo IdeaPad S540 13.3" Intel Core i5-10210U with 16gb RAM and 512 SSD Model #: 81XA0095US - $550
The Lenovo Yoga is a 2 in 1 meaning it has touch screen and can fold in to a tablet style computer. I don't necessarily need this as I have an iPad, but whatever. At first glance, when I ran a check, the Yoga seems to have a better processor than the IdeaPad, but the IdeaPad obviously has more RAM and a bigger SSD. Also to note, I typically don't store a lot of files on my actual computers. I use Microsoft OneDrive for file storage and have options for external file storage if needed.
The price difference isn't a major deal for me.
Let me know what you think.
