Any takers on what's happening? On going costs for Galahad 3093 development?

Keep in mind, first and foremost, the measurement is in SEK... not USD... so, gotta convert the values before we start talking about how much money clearly just Wyrom is pocketing

For the sake of super condensed financial statements such as those, revenues are the more important numbers to focus on. You cannot make assumptions about operations through condensed financial statements, especially for those recently acquired. While goodwill cannot be depreciated, any itemized purchase of an intangible assets as part of the acquisition can be deprecated over the perceived useful life of the asset(s), reducing book revenues for the subsidiary. These are non-operational, non-cash losses, but are still counted towards overall profits for a given subsidiary.

Where did you find their report, most of the information I saw for them was Q1 information, which doesn't go that itemized, and is still unaudited.

Maybe Stillfront put a loot cap on Simu.

Serves them right. Cunts.

They are developing a game on steam, probably the reason.

It's alright. Very small Dev team obviously, I wouldn't hold my breathe on it given the track record of other "Simu Games" being "Developed"....Since they ended up instead just selling/renting out the engine from their MMO

This company makes terrible decisions. They could develop a Steam app connected to Gemstone and it would immediately have a core following of 2000 players. A new mech game is not very compelling.

Galahad is DOA, no news on their website or even user activity in their subreddit and Steam group for a month. Shocking, I know.

Are they going to even finish this game? Has Simutronics ever finished a non-mobile game?

What was their first graphical game going to be? That used Hero's Engine or whatever? That game never came. Dragons of Elanthia never took off because they couldn't get fans to donate 10 million dollars or whatever to fund their advertising. And now this game might not be finished either?

Galahad will probably be 'put on hold' like DoE was. Their first graphical thing* was Hero's Journey, whose engine wound up getting sold off. I suspect they sold DoE assets off too because I can't imagine spending all that money and completing development (according to Whatley) only to just sit on it in perpetuity.

It's crazy to think this old text game has been funding these other projects for decades now while the most money they have put into this game recently was upgrading the server, but only after they blamed their own players for weeks for causing lag and game crashes.

Figure out a way to make a real petition where people will cancel subscription until certain things are done. Simple demands. Make new hunting grounds, stop the lag, finish ascension. They use all their time for shit that makes no sense and will not help longevity. We could of been hoarding Dogecoin instead of paying our monthly fees and duskruin.

Unfortunately it would never happen. The GMs can do no wrong to a sizeable segment of the playerbase and said players will actively verbally fight against anyone who says otherwise.

Talk to your fellow whales and get them to boycot wyromania until we get a new hunting ground, if we could have everyone to take a knee for 1 event they'd give us what we want, ascension I don't think we will ever get because they would rather sell us the abilities.

After seeing that 62m Krona figure ($7.3m Americanese) I'm a little a bit disappointed, nobody likes to be taken for a sucker but I'm going to reserve judgement until after summer.

People have been talking about petitions and boycotts and all this bullshit for decades. The only thing that will get this game to change is time. Also, that change is all the players dying off and the game shutting down.

Go to the next Wyromania and then be like "Nah I'm good on this shit until you finish Ascension." and then log out and put your account on hold and rip into them in the "Why did you cancel?" box. Tell them you'll return when they have at least 1 full time dev GM or something who can run shit like a pro and not some hack like the current crew.

Whales are who they cater to. It's no coincidence that they just happened to create a "gem splitter" item last DR, for example, as if they weren't aware that you run gem bounties all the time or something, for example. Same with Lormaek and Rift boots, etc.

Simu will deny it all day, but some of these big money items aren't being created at random. It's way too obvious. Those items are being made to pull in money from specific players, knowing that there's a high likelihood that player X will pay big money for item Y, etc.

500 people could cancel their subscriptions and as long as they can count on whale money, it'll still be business as usual.

I don't care what anyone does with their money, but this is really only a problem that whales can make an impact on by making whale threats with whale money or something. And you're definitely considered a whale to Simu.

I don't understand the choices made in Galahad 3093 at all. I am 100% the market demographic for this, play mechwarrior, watch Gundam, buy steam games almost exclusively... I was immediately turned off when I saw they were so fucking lazy as to just use every noun from Mechwarrior/BattleTech but to be a different thing. Lance (group of mechs) to mean a mech. The weapon names shown include griffin, catapult, wraith, hellfire, javalin, banshee (mech classes all). The "heros" are all just Arthurian names. I mean... at least try.

One of the riders for Dragons of Elanthia was a rip off of 40k ork named Kaptin Bluddflagg. Maybe the threat of a lawsuit is what shelved that game.

I'm thinking Arthurian stuff is all public domain so that's why they went with it.

Which is nuts because they have such a robust auto name generator.

Since there's apparent confusion over my post, I'm agreeing with Warclaidh's overall point and pointing out that Simu is more likely to listen to big spenders voting with their wallets vs. some randoms with Basic accounts and that's all, etc.

True, if like 2-3 whales ganged up on wyrom we'd have a new hunting area in 2 weeks
