I've been working on a fashion site on and off for two years and now it's almost ready to go up. But I wanted to share it with you guys first, since many of the people listed in this portion of the site post here. So you guys can tell me if you want your names on or off your alterations.

Questions and comments are welcome too, just keep in mind that that page isn't quite what it'll be on the site when complete. Gotta have the background picture, the scrolling menu, et cetera. But let me know how readable the text is for those of you with larger screens. I might yet change it back to regular ol' Times New Roman.

It was good, and you seem to like alters that have odd words or evoke some sort of vision beyond the norm. I don't particularly like alters that seem modern to me, or multi-hued hair...that makes me think a person is having their hair styled like their own.

It was hard to read so you might want to rework the text.

I wish that we really had an amazing and comprensive website out there that we could use to make alters. After so many years and an army of characters, I am completely out of inspiration.

Gimme a shot of Stay's armor and you will be. I couldn't find it in any of my logs.

It's hard to stand out in Elanthia 'cause everyone looks like a superstar. So I like it when anyone manages it.

I don't, however, generally like over-the-top obscure words that you'd only get through a compendium of ultra-rare words online or something. I mean.. I know what the words mean usually, but I know most people don't and I don't think language should be a barrier to understanding.

The type is a bit small. Still readable and will conserve space, but some of the viewers might find it a little difficult to read.

Another thing is you might develop a little more hierarchy with the text so everything is a little more clear as to what is what. ie.

I really like "milk white" for some reason. It's not something you see every day. And myriad's a good word too.

I have a website with a random alteration generator. There's a thread about it around here somewhere but I wont post the link since this isn't about it and I dont want to be rude.

Gah! I hit enter before I was done :(

Really nice so far! If you need any help with it let me know. I know some great sites for graphics or could help you whip something up.

Neat! But there are a lot of people who need to be up there!

Oh and...when are you selling the cherry-patterned robe?

I realized after rereading, my post didn't sound very flattering. Sorry bout that.

*and my English needs some work apparently as well.

I've always liked sites that are about alter design, it's one of my favorite aspects of the game and always nice to see another site pop up with collections on it.

I...am the feature alterations MASTAH.

You may all now bow down to me.

:D

I was so excited when you made the suggestion for a site like this, I'm so glad you've got it somewhat completed!

I've started jotting the names down of the people who I now have to kill in-game and steal their wonderful creations from!

Thanks for the advice! I'm gonna try out some contrasting text colors and do away with the italics that some people seem to be having trouble reading. My screen must be tiny, 'cause I can see it all clearly. Stupid laptop...

Yeah, I know. I have another thirty or so alterations I've spotted, but they're listed on my desktop. I'll add 'em eventually.

And that robe.. is long gone, heh! I made that before I even met you and tossed the character it was for before then too. Dunno where it is now, but I don't have it.

Heh! I liked that character's goggles too, but I couldn't find my log of 'em. If you send them to me, those'll go up too.

Well well! I'm certainly flattred Dex however..I can't take credit for my armband. I bought that from someone in the Landing on the net. Can't remember for the life of me now who I got it from, but it wasn't my design! I own it yes, but I didn't make it. :( So sad too cause it's the only one of my things that made your list! :cries:

Nah, I'm pretty sure you've got more stuff that'll be on there. I've just only had access to the spotted.txt on my laptop. There's another spotted.txt on my desktop computer which I'll be adding in tomorrow and I'm positive there's stuff in there, like one of your lockets, I think.

Contrast and color are good options.
