Is there a way to find all of the ingredients for animation in Ta'illistim?

If not, I'm in the market for either :
Ready made crystals,
Mooflowers + Saltwater.

Moonflowers.

And I'd check playershops.com for the ingredients or crystals. Alot of older sorcs with shops sell their stuff.

No moonflowers in Ta'Illistim. The oldest Trolls in the lands are Massive Troll Kings, which are of course in Darkstone (dont think anywhere else).

Its pretty awesome we have to travel all the way across Elanthia to cast one of our spells. Could be worse though, just look at the requirements for 1635!

I'm currently searching franticly.

The official boards don't seem to have any info on where I can find them either.
Honestly. I'm not going to travel all the way to Landing just to cast a useless spell.

Water actually may not be able to be found on the other side of the spines, either. I remember someone complaining about that. I know it can be found in Solhaven and the Landing, RR of course as well.

Moonflowers I BELIEVE are only found in Icemule Trace, near the abandoned farm/Orchard. You just forage for them AT NIGHT.

Blood is Available on both sides of the Spine, I would imagine. I think the next oldest Troll after the TK is found on RR, though.

Pain in the ass spell, but atleast Nilven is continuing to work on it.

A good site to go to if you haven't been already is GS4sorcerer.com There really isn't a better Sorcery related webpage on the night.

Yes, except gs4sorcerer has the charming habit of linking to porn...

Anyways, no ingredients to be had on the eastern side of Dragonspine. If you spend a few hours gathering ingredients you should be set for a few months (at a cast or two per day). The moonflowers are the most difficult ingredient to gather by far, unless you hire a ranger to do the work for you. The trolls blood is fairly straightforward and you should most likely be able to gather about five doses per troll. The seawater collection takes all of ten seconds (to fill a flask of 20 doses) at Surde's (Gloks pier? I can't remember) pier in Solhaven. Fortunately the components weigh very little. The moonflowers (regardless of the size of the bundle) and each flask weigh under two pounds.

If you make the crystals as you need them it really shouldn't be very much trouble.

You've been a big help.
Thank you very much.

Okay so I've not had as much fun in ages.
Firstly de-limbing hundreds of troll kings , collecting blood , visiting piers , and sitting in Oleani's Garden to mix the solution was great.
Now that I'm used to the process, I find it's an excellent RP tool and a wonderful way to spend time resting from a hunt.

Thanks for all your help.

Man, I know it's wrong but there is nothing quite like being invisible and having a troll king in town.
So much fun.

Tricking other players into letting you animate them is the best part of the spell, hands down. It gets to be a real passtime after awhile... Not the best way to make friends, but hey, was that ever really our specialty?

Just ask them if they want a sorcerer raise. It's kind of like a cleric or paladin raise but with a few additions.

What happens when a sorcerer uses AD on a PC? Anyone have a log from a 1st person standpoint? How do you get out of it?

You can just type group close I think to not allow them to animate you... and if that doesn't work while already animated can't you unlink or something? I know there's a way to break it if you're really not happy.

Something I found which sucks.

I stunned a Seeker with an endroll of 298, killed him with pain infliction and proceeded to re-animate him.

He was stunned for the whole duration of his animation.
Which was shit.
