Are there any scripts for knitting? I have searched a bit for one and I am not finding any.

What all is involved in knitting? If it's simple enough I can throw a script together real quick for ya.

I haven't started knitting yet. Been working on learning cobbling. Close to mastering thanks to your script.
The Wiki info on it. https://gswiki.play.net/Knitting_needles
I'll buy some yarn and needles for you, if you want to give it a go.

It does everything I can do with the needles and yarn you gave me. If other needles have different messaging or do something else more fancy than the needles I tested this with I may have to tweak the script a bit, but other than that it should work. Let me know.

Not sure what needles you used (ie, individual OTS needles or the auction quality), but there's several auction quality knitting needles out there that have all the patterns in one set of needles. Not sure if your script has accounted for those (or if it will bork the script if you use them)

The needles are for knitting socks. I am hoping to get some auction quality needles that will knit any pattern.
Thank you for the ;knit script. This is so handy!!

If someone wants to loan me some auction quality needles I can probably get the script working for them, but I imagine the script should work as is with any set of needles, unless the needles have different messaging which might break the script. If that's the case it should be a simple fix.
