Alright, I just got a Conair Compact Fabric Steamer. After the first 2 runs, it seems to work "ok". Granted some of the shirts I had were ridiculously wrinkled, it did do a good job on 2 of them. The one thing I do like, however, is that they smell really good (dry cleaner'esque). Anyway, do any of you use a steamer as opposed to an iron, and possibly have any suggestions for better ways of doing it? There is definitely some technique involved (strangely), and I hope I didn't waste my money getting this instead of an iron and board.

I use an iron on full steam(linen) setting. I prefer to iron because But that's because I like creases on my trousers, creases on the sleeves, etc.

I use a steamer to freshen up something that just has a few wrinkles from hanging in the closet. Anything that needs more than that goes to the cleaners. :D

It's the cleaner for me for all silk/satin etc. I hate ironing. Luckily PVC is wash cold and/or wipe down :)

Just owning a good steamer is the best SP. I highly recommend Rowenta.
