what artisan skill next

Hi!

I have a very young warrior with 500 in crafting and 500 in THW. He plans to make his own perfect maul.

Which artisan skill should he learn next? So far I have 2 votes for Polearms, and 1 vote for OHE.

Everyone should master fletching because that was the original "I'm gonna master this skill for the easiest experience."

my little warrior has done thw, ohe, polearms, and is at 475 ranks in blunt. not sure if I will do brawling or not.

I thought you can only master 3? I have thw, pole and fletching. Can I continue working on other skills and gain exp?

You can master crafting and every weapon skill, or crafting and two weapon skills and a non-weapon crafting skill, three non-forging skills, or 1200 points worth of skills split up however you want. If you don't have crafting mastered, you should do that immediately. You can do more weapons if you drop fletching.

In the skill of forging - crafting, you are a master with 500 ranks.
In the skill of forging - two handed weapons, you are a master with 500 ranks.
In the skill of forging - pole arms, you are a master with 500 ranks.
In the skill of fletching, you are a master with 500 ranks.

Based on your advice, I also mastered fletching and polearms (see above).

What next? Blunts?

I would do ohe. Such a common weapon type

i'm working on mastering OHE now. next up is blunts. i'll skip brawling since it's not in high demand, and i'd have to partially unlearn fletching to pick up brawling.
