If you have air lore training, I would think a sonic shield would be really good for your training. +50 tower shield with the hinderence of dodge, and you are probably more than 1x in dodge training due to all the dodge ranks you get from 1019.

Aren't you capped at 7x with singing shields? Seems quite limiting. I am bard newb but here is what I read on the wiki

"The base enchant of the shield is +10 (2x), and is increased by +1 for every two Bard Base circle ranks, up to a maximum bonus of +35; essentially a 7x shield"

You can get the fork thangs at DR to get it to 10x, I think? And weightless, with the penalties of a small shield with the protection of a tower shield at 75 air. Not bard expert, but think that's it though - no reactive stuffs.
