I've always had a preference for Best Buy. Ever since the day that I bought a hard drive and when I went back a couple of weeks later it was on sale. They gave me back the difference. :D

Best Buy at least where I used to live had more variety of merchandise.
But Circuit City had better prices.
Best Buy's my favorite. It does seem a bit more expensive, but the Circuit City around here seems kind of run down.

yah know I have always shopped at Best Buy...But lately best buy has not been nearly as customer oriented as Media play when I dvd shop or book shop...so my vote goes to media play

Who just bought Joe Dimaggio's book "A Heroe's life" for .01
Between the two I go with Best Buy. New release Tuesdays and a good CD collection. They have everything!
But the best places to buy CDs are the places that let you listen to them first. Tower Records has this though limited to what they allow. FYE (For Your Entertainment) has a system where you can scan the bar code of ANY CD and listen to I think its thirty seconds of every song.

Circuit City has the same price guarantee. Good prices, crap service, and they lack selection.
Best Buy great selection, if you mention a price from CC they will match it at the very least... most times beat it. Service tends to be on the suck side of things.
I go to Best Buy if I know I can't find it anywhere else cheaper. I just have to say... No, no thank you, no... what fucking part of NO DID YOU NOT UNDERSTAND. (in reference to that chintzy protection plan they try and shove down your throat)

Best buy. At least where I live, the customer service they have is great. Returning things isn't a problem at all. They also give you your money back if you find a cheaper price anywhere else or if they put it on sale within 30 days. Great customer service wins over price....

I like Circuit City. They've got great customer service, and the few times I"ve had a problem with equipment I purchased from there, they didn't even ask questions. They just replaced it, without bitching or moaning or taking it and sending it out and leaving me high and dry while it was repaired.

I'm still waiting on a computer I had a raincheck for in 2000.
Edit: It was from Best Buy.

I prefer best buy.
Walmart's awesome. Where else can you buy DVDs for 6 dollars, do your grocery shopping, get your hair cut, eat lunch, buy a new lawnmower blade, do your banking, and get your oil changed all in the same place.
