I have played GS on and off for 7 years, and have yet to be harrassed a GM. If you get checked that much it is because you have given them a reason to do so.

As far as commenting on Bob's looks? He is a 14 year old boy <sorry Bob but your still a boy> He is handsome and going through alot of changes as he matures. Resorting to attacking how he looks is childish at best and shows that you have nothing to stand on as far as an argument.

This is only true if you've been consistently breaking policy.
I am not breaking policy. They are checking to see if you are breaking POLICY 18. (using Wizard or Stormfront SCRIPTS)

The harassment comes from GMs, I've had _all_ of them do a room event for me, or issue a SEND command.
They will take turns checking your keyboard status while they confer on the GM channel.
It is part of a GM's job description. They have to check if people are running scripts AFK.

Sell and start over, don't tell your new character's name.

Being anonymous is your BEST defense against bastards from here.

If you've been playing GemStone for more than seven years, and you're as dissatisfied as you seem, GemStone (as it has come to be) may not be the game for you. Try some other games. Perhaps, you can find one you like and that better fits your playing style.

As for posting on these boards, you get what you give. If you arrive with guns blazing, you can bet your bippy there are those who will blaze back. Additionally, there are always going to be those who dislike you, either from the game or because of your posting style or things you say. That's a given. You live with it or you don't. :shrug:

Honestly, how hard is this to grasp? If you script, afk or not, you WILL be checked by GM's. Even if you've been doing it for 10 years, they will check you every time they notice you. It's their job.

No, it's simply A scripting AFK character got killed and decayed because the script was too dumb to quit after being killed.

10 minutes before, the script hunter AFK got fried and script went to the resting place and script joined 1 AFK character of finishedwolf.

Strangely enough, 2 other characters of finishedwolf were AFK WITH the other one.

Chadj's script used to run with Filswolf on a script. I would keep Filswolf on a script, at all times, for a specific list of people to just tap him, and he gives a full spellup to them. I kept him logged in 24/7.

At that point, Fils belonged to me, and I was using him for that purpose. The friend who had logged Chadj and was scripting him, used my usual script. That person was not Finis.
