Dexterity and RT on Pole Arms

Can increasing your dex stat and/ or bonus lower the round time when swinging a pole arm, or ambushing with a pole arm?

Your agidex bonus plays into the normal RT for polearms just like other weapon types, IIRC you need 53 agidex for a 5sec lance RT. Not sure about the ambushing off the top of my head.

Yeah. The other break points are a combined bonus of 68 to get a 7 second ambush with a lance/awl-pike, 83 to get 6 seconds. Those are the minimum speeds, so only haste effects can get you faster than that.

TThank you fellas. Exactly the info I needed. I'm thinking about using some ascension points to up my dex stat/bonus to get the ambush rt down - hopefully to 6. Thoughts?

Its a good idea, make sure to get enhancives too. You can get 140 agility and 140 dex from enhancives, and ascension will apply on top of that. So for example with ascension you could push those up to 150 each.
