I love sharing photos from our farm. With the light snow we got in VA a couple of days ago I found myself at the barn more than usual with hot water runs so I have been snapping some pics.

Alpaca's spit for sure haha. While they are cute they are giant cats, ours are mostly cunts (I say that with love) unless you have food then they get painfully close to you until food time is over.

I actually wanted a mule as a herd guardian but the Mrs. wanted Alpaca's for their fiber so we went that route.

I have wanted a horse for years, it's just so fucking expensive. I just found out an old friend of mine is going to start breeding horses so, maybe that will change if I can get access to a cheap place to keep one.

Yes horses are expensive as hell and the most expensive part is the housing/upkeep so that's a good setup to have. My wife and kids want horses (they are at a horse rescue 4-5 times a week with riding and volunteering) and I am fighting it tooth and nail because it is so costly *a boat that shits*. But I will most likely cave when my oldest turns 10 or 13.
