Sweet baby jeezus, did not realize fixstats were 200 bucks during normal times.

I may just go for all 100’s now with my characters. Is there really any noticeable difference between going for all 100’s at cap and more customized specs?

If you do bounties while levelling you can pretty easily save up 1m by the time you are at cap or shortly after. I did it with 3 characters, but all of my new characters have stats set for cap now. The low levels are easy enough you can get by without issues if you have spells available to you. For UAC wizards, I've found it actually works out pretty well since your STR is set so high due to low growth. Just doing bandits non stop since capping I think I'm back up to around 500k on each character 3m post cap.

Max stats at cap is trendy now.

I think people didn’t even consider hitting level 100 back in the day. And you’re right, with Dreavenings, enhancements, ascension, good gear availability, it’s probably the smart way to go.

I already have 2 potions in the bank for my main characters. I just thought it would be much easier for me to level to 100 with maxed out core stats. But now that they are both capped I want max stats so those 2 potions are spoken for. This third potion would be for my cleric, who I now want to fully switch to a bolting cleric. Unfortunately his dex is atrocious as I never would have thought a pure bolting cleric would be a thing.
