Actually, I think most simu employees probably leave as their responsibilities in a text online roleplaying game, that they don't get a regular paycheck for, interfere with life, family, work etc... not because of people bitching.

My general take is they're too arrogant for that to get to them much. Plus, when an entire board of GSIV players is kissing your ass on every change you make to the game and you're paid in egostrokes, who cares if one to fifteen are dissatisified?

Yeah...I think that when you are paying for a service, you automatically get licence to complaint about that service if there are things about it that you dont like.

But that doesnt give you licence to be a complete arsehole, like Oddeye/Emelyn. He should give up gemstone and take up something else like base diving.

I disagree, Hulkein. There have been several people lately who have seemed to be using this forum as a release for their angst about GemStone, GMs, and life in general. After awhile, it gets really, really boring.

I'm sorry some people seem to have problems dealing with the ups and downs of life. However, coming here to vent that angst is not going to change things, for better or worse. It just ends up by driving people up the proverbial wall, and making the person who's posting this drivel look like an ass.

I just don't think Cat's reason for starting the thread was, exclusively, his posts. I think there have been a number of posts, by varying posters, over the past few weeks that could have generated Cat's post. I think it was a combination of posts and posters, rather than just one.

Perhaps the spunkmonkey did inspire her to post it. However I may be the only one that felt that it's just not anyone to tell others that to either clam up and take it or stop playing.

So now people aren't allowed to vent or bitch about the game or it's controllers or we leave? I can understand if people hate it that much to not play, but if it's an occasion gripe, or not something that angers them to stop playing but is enough to voice, I don't see the problem. As if no one in this thread has ever been truly angry with a Simu decision.
