A former Israeli space security chief has sent eyebrows shooting heavenward by saying that earthlings have been in contact with extraterrestrials from a "galactic federation."

"The Unidentified Flying Objects have asked not to publish that they are here, humanity is not ready yet," Haim Eshed, former head of Israel's Defense Ministry's space directorate, told Israel's Yediot Aharonot newspaper. The interview in Hebrew ran on Friday, and gained traction after parts were published in English by the Jerusalem Post on Tuesday.

A respected professor and retired general, Eshed said the aliens were equally curious about humanity and were seeking to understand "the fabric of the universe."

The guys interview is crazy. He says there is a secret underground base on Mars with alien and US astronauts hanging out. I don't recall allowing such a base, so they need to get the fuck out.

There's another interesting theory/supposedly real thing that occurred with an old mission dealing with acoustics. Don't recall the video name - was in a YouTube blackhole one night - but general idea was during a previous mission somehow they registered the acoustics and the return sound was a metallic hollow gong sound. This would support the hollow moon, secret underground base (observation platform) theory.

Edit: Oh and there was one other video that talked about the uniform depth of all crater impacts on the moon, raising questions about what's under the surface - one hypothesis: a metal shield with hollow framework inside.

Well, he didn't explicitly state that the aliens were talking to ONLY the US and Israel, right? He just said they're talking to the US and Israel governments.

The more interesting part of the article I thought, was the part where he said that the Aliens weren't going to introduce themselves to greater humanity until we understood what space and spaceships actually are. Which is interesting.

There is not enough information here to be certain of the validity of any of these current claims.

For myself, I believe that such a scenario will occur in the future. We will explore the universe, meet other intelligent species, and join together with them in a galactic federation persuing common goals.

I would be very comforted to know we have already been contacted by a peaceful race, which is working with us toward this goal.
