On Monday morning (12/07/20), the previously announced Skill Training adjustments (details linked below) will go live. All characters will receive a FIXSKILL at that time. Please note that FIXSKILLS do not stack, so if you currently have one, you will not gain another.

Ah, fair point. I was thinking of profession base spell lists, forgot about minor spiritual, which would apply for paladins as well.

Stupid fucking adjustments for wizards somehow took my capped wizard down 2 full wizard spell ranks....they're slowly migrating. He had 89 PTPs before the adjustment and I was contemplating on adding a spell rank to one of his circles.....

After I logged back in he went down to 40 PTP and is showing he's migrating out 2 wizard spell ranks. How the fuck does that work?

He lost 49 PTPs to put him at 40 (down from 89).
Then he lost another 128 PTPs for the 2 wizard spell ranks that are instantly migrating out on their own.

Only skills that should impact him are the 160 AS ranks he knows and the 134 EMC ranks.....does this really equate to a loss of 139 PTPs?
I need to earn 88 more PTPs to put my spell ranks back up 2 ranks, that's 220,000 exp I need to earn.

Complained about it on the official forums and my post was pulled....fucking asshats.

AS got more expensive and EMC got less expensive by the same amount (1 MTP per 1x training). So given you have more AS than EMC, I would have expected that you would have needed more training points to keep your skills at the same levels of training. I think the math on this is 52 MTP.

Old: (101 x 1) + (59 x 2) +(101 x 4) + (33 x 8) = 887 MTP
New: (101 x 2) + (59 x 4) + (101 x 3) + (33 x 6) = 939 MTP
Difference of 52 MTP (104 PTP assuming conversion)

So if you had 89 PTPs when these changes went live, you would have had a TP deficit because you would have needed 104 PTPs to keep your skills trained at the same levels.

The numbers you stated don't follow this, but there appears to be other problems with the skill manager system. They have announced there is a problem with how the system is calculating inter-level training points. I can't say for sure if that affects you, but if it does it may explain why you experienced the training adjustments you did.

I didn't have this happen to any characters I've looked at so far, but I did fixskill anyone I thought might have a TP deficit this past weekend. I personally don't think they offered enough notice on this change going live, so I feel for anyone that was impacted negatively.

Yeah, something is wonky with the TPs. I had a character bounce around TPs while logged in yesterday multiple times, sometimes up, sometimes down. And by large amounts (+/- up to 20) at various times.

I mean technically, with ascension, you could have 101 ranks + 50 from enhancives + 50 from ascension and have a bolt AS capable of hitting critters in your standard capped hunting grounds. Web bolting + Fire Spirit warrior!

70 from enhancives and asc each (dex + spell aim)

for the small investment of like 22m ASC exp and probably 50-100m in enhancives, you too can have the bolt AS of a level 80 wizard

If anyone still uses the Tsoran spreadsheet for planning out builds, I adjusted the updated training costs and times per level some skills changed for all the classes listed in the google doc.

I haven't made any other changes to the spreadsheet, I only made adjustements off the latest version of "trainerGS4.4.4.5" that I had. I renamed the skill cost adjustments to end in a 6 (trainerGS4.4.4.6). If by some chance I mucked up a cost for any profession you're trying to plan, let me know and I can adjust things.
