I have been thinking of really HK my HK sorcerer up with his gear for alterations and I was curious if anyone knows or has experience with using the GS created language information to describe items.

So my thought for my current piece would be a set of dark war leathers or even just dark leathers (since they may not be keen on war though I see battle/war a good bit).

According to the GSWIKI the translation for those would be -- pritzkra ruskag t'vrak dubra *Warship has the war after ship so modified if war leathers to have war after leathers based on the WIKI* or just pritzkra ruskag t'vrak

I know I have seen the article ruskag plenty for armor but would the rest of it fly? I would love it for that added touch but before I go buying a SS from someone I don't want to cause a nightmare.

i just tried to alter my plate to war/battle (armor) the other day, and the merchant said no.

The merchant probably saw the jumble of consonants that is Krolegh and thought you were having a seizure.

FWIW as someone that rp's a char that doesn't use common, most merchants respond to me in whisper, and rarely do respond to me in a room full of people unless they speak it, too.

E.g. Today the merchant said something like All I hear is gnomish babbling, but I think he likes it.

In the past I would have said no way will they allow it, but they are using Krolgeh words (like trukt) to describe things now so who knows. Maybe try to catch a Merchant at Briarmoon Cove before dealing with a scroll.

The noun has to be on the approved list or it is a no. I don't even see Ruskag on there, but the list can be different from their official list.
