The Pilgrims were starving to begin with.
66 days at sea with only the food they could carry and not a Flintstones vitamin between them, and they landed in what would become Massachusetts in September.
The immediately ensuing winter of 1620 left half the Pilgrims dead.
There was no Thanksgiving.
.
The Lord didn't send down manna.
The Crown didn't medevac over iron rations - how could they, when the first American airports wouldn't be built for another 150 years?
The Wampanoag people didn't bring over a bunch of casseroles.
They brought over knowledge. What to plant, and when, and how.
With a full harvest of corn, there was Thanksgiving in 1621.
.
Three weeks ago (http://forum.gsplayers.com/showthread.php?127108-On-the-74-Days&p=2183158#post2183158), the country was averaging 1,000 new daily deaths from coronavirus.
Three weeks ago, I claimed we would see 2,000 by December.
Yesterday, we lost over 2,000 American lives.
I didn't use calculus.
I didn't perform trigonometry.
I didn't even whip out algebra.
All I did was look at the lines.

Some people want you to think this is complicated.
Look for yourself. Is it really that complicated?
This is the third time in this country we've seen a sudden rise in new cases - spring, summer, winter.
This is the third time we've seen that rise reach a plateau two-three weeks after we started fighting back - Adam Silver, Governor Abbott, Judge Samaniego.
Twice before, we saw the peak in deaths come two-three weeks after that plateau.
This time is going to be no different.
We are going to lose 3,500 American lives in a day.
.
Nothing we do now can change that. The last time to keep the death toll under that horrible number came and went weeks ago.
What we do now can only change the deaths five weeks from now.
What we have to answer is: do we want it to go higher or lower?
The virus isn't keeping a list of who's been good for these eight months.
The virus isn't going to uninfect people if we try extra hard starting November 30th.
If we relax mask wearing tomorrow, cases go up in a few weeks.
If we relax distancing tomorrow, deaths go up a few weeks after cases.
There are no do-overs.
There are no take-backs.
There are no time-outs.
.
And we know it.
We who survived the starving time have the knowledge now.
We know if we want to harvest, we have to plant.
Which seeds will we plant tomorrow?
Five weeks from now, whom do we want to be alive?

Definitely NOT the 400,000 children Democrats celebrate murdering every year.

Like I said, just get some help.

It's important to reiterate that I am in no way appealing to fear, because fear implies a future event we can alter.
3,500 Americans are going to die in a single day from coronavirus.
This is not a matter of conjecture.
Neither is it a matter of debate.
It cannot be argued with at all, which is why, of course, you have not argued with it.
We can only decide whether we want that number to go higher or lower.
We can only decide it right now, today, by what we will do tomorrow.
The future is set for the next five weeks.
In five weeks and a day, our fate will be made by ourselves, by what we do tomorrow.
.
Nobody's holding a gun to our heads either way.
In many ways, this time is the clearest and least ambiguous test of morality any of us will ever face.
Will we do what we know is the right thing?
Even though it's hard?
Even though we know we will face no legal/social consequences whatsoever for NOT doing so?

You seem to forget the sole reason I won't vote democrat is because they celebrate killing black babies.
It's ok, we know democrats are closet racists.

The most exhausting thing about Republicans isn't that their leaders have absolutely no actual solutions to serious problems (and they don't). It's that their damn voters keep the rest of us from being able to solve critical problems because they don't actually believe in them.
We can't solve climate change because it's not real.
We can't deal with COVID because it's a hoax.
We can't tackle systemic racism because it's imaginary.
We can't stop foreign election interference because it doesn't actually happen.
We can't tackle income inequality because it's not a problem.
I wish you people would just get the hell out of the way and let the rest of us deal with the real problems we're facing.
Have you really not learned your less from COVID yet? It was real the whole time. How many more people have to die before you idiots will finally admit you were wrong and can finally either take this seriously or at least stop blocking the rest of us from taking it seriously?
Your delusions are literally killing us.

Freedom of thought isn't an excuse for ignoring reality.
Also I'm confused, are you trying to argue then men aren't capable of lactation? Or are you just so uncomfortable with that fact that you have to keep repeating it over and over again incredulously until you can convince yourself it isn't true?
Did that work for COVID too?
