I'm about to kick someone. Basically I need someone's help figuring this out.

I am using Turbotax and it's asking me my adjusted gross income for 2004. Thing is, I filed electronically through them last year and I can't find or just don't have the printed out version for my stuff I filed last year.

So, I have two w-2's sitting in front of me that I used for filing last years stuff.. so is there a way to find out the adjusted gross income amount from these or am I totally screwed?

This can be a real pain in the ass since they all vary by state.

Sounds to me that you are screwed. :P

Just kidding if you can find the adjusted gross on last year's income and find the corresponding lines on your 2003 W-2's, it stands you reason you could find it on this year's.

Best of luck to ya.

I'm not looking to take classes, Alex. Thanks for the thought.

Is there anyone that can actually offer help without being a smartass?

Well, from what Turbotax is telling me, I can find them on last year's 1040ez on certain lines. Like I said, I can't find the form or I didn't print it out. :(

It's not on this years form cause it wouldn't be the right amount since it's not from last years.

Nevermind, I'm just going to redo my taxes for last year and figure it out that way. Thanks to the one person that wasn't dumb, and actually tried to help.

If you do not have you AGI from last year you can call the IRS and they will give it to you. www.irs.gov. The number should be there.

Or..you just will not be able to e file and will have to do it manually.

Thanks for the help Blosum. I got it figured out, and just fyi, if you want a copy or transcript of last years return or anything pertaining to it, they'll charge $39.

I just redid my taxes for last year and rounded it up like Turbotax would do. I'm so stupid sometimes, but it got done.

Thanks again!
