Not a photo-shop, but my good friend at Yale Divinity sold about 25 shirts with block letter YAIL pressed on the front. I thought that was clever.

You should take off all the shading for a logo.

Artha's right, just make it a line drawing, then fill in the colors... I don't know if photoshop will do it, but if you can get corel draw and trace you can take care of it... trace the thing to make it a vector graphic then fill in the colors. Will work great for screen printing.
