When you go to discord (the official community), you know what you're into. Most are butt licking but some are different. In a production team (I don't think you worked in projects), any big PM (program manager or project, depends on method of delivery) will want either
1) a team that thinks alike
2) a team that have different mindset to challenge a lot

Bad PM want option 1, good pm wants option 2. You g uessed it, the second option is risky. So is option 1 but in different aspects. I won't go more in details.

On lnet, anyone could say it's lawless . That's false. That's completely false. Like all micro societies, you got some % of people that regroup themselves.

1) You got the lawless selfish people who's boundaries are themselves (5-10%)
2) You got the anti-establishment people that will use lnet to their end, which could be just criticism or having interest (1-5%)
3) You got the vast majority that are convenient, whether that is just in lack of interest to challenge, not caring, or not having the willpower to do so (45-50%)
4) You got a minority that got some interest and will stick to it but for the rest, won't care that much. They'll stay outside of any heated situation unless it scratch their interest (30-35%)
5) You got some people that will play with it, simply, for whatever reason (control, enlightment, education, power) (could be seen as number 1 but it's bigger than that) (1%)

When interests converge, it creates tighter groups and "rules" emerge. On lnet, there's rules de facto.

Zaoloo showed he'S a number 1, a selfish individual that only cares about his rules. He appeared as having some boundaries (number 4) but showed rapidly it's only to support his own motive (therefore, he's a fucking number 1)

You, being a number 5 but always institing of demonstrating you are NOT a member of any group (which you despise) makes you hated by the majority. Instead of using your skills to make people grow, you use em to shame em on their stupidities, so you say.
