I think to be fair we should apply the same standards that the Parti Quebecois did when they held a referendum to decide whether to separate from Canada.

The question of separation won't be tabled again until the economy tanks.

Unless Quebec votes a 2/3rds majority to separate, the Canadian Government won't allow it, no matter what the PQ thinks. I know the PQ thinks they smell blood in the water because of Martin's shaky minority Government. If another election is forced the PQ may make modest advancements at best. However I doubt the Conservatives will force an election. The fact the Conservatives accepted the budget shows they won't force an election.
