Hi all,

Question about enhancive item use and the mechanics of de/activating them.

I understand that enhancives are drained of charges 1) randomly while being actively worn; and 2) there is a possible drain of a charge upon removing or donning the enhancive item.

With enhancive pauses courtesy of the Simucoin store, does anyone know whether the act of "pausing" the use of the enhancive item has the possibility of draining a charge just like wearing or removing the item?

For the Wardrobes sold by the AG, I don't have one but are these actually useful? Does removing/wearing enhancive items via the wardrobe carry the possibility of removing a charge each time? I assume the answer is yes, but just wanted to poll the audience.

Thanks in advance.

There is no such thing as a possibility of drain on wearing or removing. That was a bad rumor, that encouraged people to leave their enhancives on, which is what waste charges. Its been confirmed by a GM.

Take off your enhancives whenever you are not using them, that is what the armoire from the AG is for.

The armoires are great. If I had need of a second skill set, such as for enchanting or lock picking I'd probably have a second one just to help organize everything.

I have three of them. One for hunting, one for lockpicking, and one for +50 miu bonus to give long durations when I do my x-a-days.

Its great, my only problem is that they all have the same description. Any suggestions? Right now my only idea is to get them altered at eg so I have an armoire, a dresser, and a bureau.

PS - what the hell is a wardrobe? I assume the OP meant an "armoire"

Thanks all for the information. I am going to have to pick one up...seems worth it for the bounty points.

PS...On a side note, I believe an armoir and wardrobe are basically the same thing...although Gil is certainly correct that it is referred to as an armoir in the game.

There's also the command INVENTORY ENHANCIVE ON/OFF. I'm not a big enhancive user, but it seems like if you just have a single set of items and you're trying to preserve them this command would be a free option, compared to the armoire.
